you'd be an utter retard not to get protein shakes from the start. i wasted so much time (years) by accidentally training in a catabolic state by being in a defecit and not counting calories correctly. also lots of wrong assumptions. if u really tryna progress, just try a single day counting ur macros and ur gonna find out for urself that u need those extra 50-80g daily from those shakes . ur training is futile without it
