Idk. I think it can help a lot of people mentally. But for recovery I'm pre sure its been disproven. I mean, it doesn't make sense anyways. Why would slowing the chemical processes in ur body make it recover faster? And as for reducing "swelling", isn't swelling just more body coming to the part of the body to help it recover? Why would you want to negate that? I guess cause it takes away pain by numbing, so it gives the impression of recovery, but in reality I don't think it helps at all, physically.
