I looked up the synopsis of this movie, it sounds pretty heavy. I would have to be in the right kind of mood to watch something like this

bro, youre missing the point. this is intended to be a thread where people post one single movie that they recommend (probably something they recently saw or just particularly like) and a brief explanation of why they recommend it; its the same format as the comfy pics thread. im not asking for a list of movies, this doesnt mean anything to me and its just way too much information, no offense btw. I do appreciate the thought and you did list some good movies

You should’ve explained this in the op idiot Redstomper

Ok anyways I’m gonna recommend u to watch This movie called “Pokiri” (2006)
DONT LOOK UP the plot, it will ruin the film for u.
But basically it’s not a serious drama movie but rather a cool action movie.
It’s about a badboy chad who falls in love with a hot stacy and joins the underworld (m a f i a) and what comes for him next.

I think there are few Indian films you westerners watch and most of the non-serious ones are crap, so here’s an actually nice one which is not super serious or melodramatic.

Aquaman is actually one of the best superhero movies unironically, I enjoyed that movie so much I watched it in theatres three times. Even paid extra for IMAX on the first day. it was during winter vacation at that time too, very cozy and fun movie

No I mean watching these movies makes me cringe

Jurassic park is probably the most watchable from that list, 3D piranha the least
