When I was 25-26, I was constantly lamenting how old I was, how I was no longer a young person, and how it was over for me. But in a year or two I had plenty more worthwhile experiences, got a girlfriend for a bit, made progress on my goals, etc.

What I do regret is not using that time as well as I could have, which honestly I can say for the entirety of my life since my adolescence. If I had done things right earlier perhaps in my late twenties I wouldn't still be inkwell, had more money, a better social network, fewer setbacks. Gotten surgeries earlier so I could enjoy those benefits in my youth, been more aware of where to find women that are actually marriageable, made better financial choices, spent my time more productively instead of surfing the internet. But what's past is past, so I must move onward.

What I find is that even when you think it's over as an oldcel at age 23, 28 or 33, the reality is that it's not actually over, and you will regret it more later on if you decide that it is and stop trying (or trying as hard) to work toward wealth, family, God and happiness. Because if you keep thinking it's too late and that you should give up, eventually it really will be.

I don't think you understood that post. I didn't say it was over for him, I said it was over for him if he continued to look like that. If he changed his looks through surgeries, hair transplant/finasteride, weight loss, etc., then it may not be over for him. That's the premise of this thread too - it's only over if you fall into despair and stop trying because you think it's over.

Unless your country is significantly more conservative than I think I doubt it. Even the most virtuous unmarried women lose it by 20-24 at the latest, and of that small percentage of women many of them are religious or come from conservative households.
