Follistatin 344 = truncated form of follistatin that binds to myostatin and related activin proteins, preventing them from activating their receptors (like ActRIIB). By fucking up the signaling molecules, it removes inhibitory signals that normally muscle growth
Also seems to suppresses broader TGF-β family signaling, and effects extend beyond muscle regulation into other physiological systems. No real human data yet, though can find online anecdotes which has the normal drawbacks linked to disruption of TGF β signaling which normally retains proliferation and maintaining tissue balance such as tumors, cancer and abnormal growth
