The first-line treatment for psychotic disorders remains antipsychotic drugs with receptor antagonist properties at D2-like dopamine receptors. However, long-term administration of antipsychotics can upregulate D2 receptors and produce receptor supersensitivity

@noi_avorrit Antipsychotics upregulates (increases) the number of your Dopamine receptors and also make your Dopamine Receptors become super sensitive 

Supersensitivity basically means that you get increased dopamine release when your Dopamine receptors are being stimulated. (Same thing "Nofap" does)

If you ever been into Nofap community then you likely know the importance of having sensitive n high number of Dopamine receptors. 

Basically if you have low sensitivity then you dont get much pleasure of doing any dopamine stimulating activities

If you have high sensitivity receptors then you will get MORE PLEASURE from doing any Dopamine Stimulating Activity (such as socializing, reading books, reading internet, video games, watching movies, drinking coffee or taking any dopamine stimulating medications ,intercourse etc).

If you absolutely must get it through the doctor route then act like you are having a manic psychosis. They give it for manic  psychosis symptoms

Interesting information about antipsychothics, thank you. Although they make the receptors more sensitive what would I need is something that increases dopamine production in a general way rather than just the receptors as we already said.

You need BOTH sensitive receptors AND stimulation of dopamine release bro. 

Without sensitive receptors then you won't barely get any effects from dopaminergic stimulants

I think we fail in both parts as we have executive dysfunction bro. Atleast myself I think I fail both in receptors sensitivity and in dopamine production. What do you think bro?

Indeed when you have executive dysfunction you fail on both areas indeed, that's right. I was putting emphasis on the production of dopamine as it's essential.

But I think ofc that both things have to be improved since if you don't treat this disorder it can give the problems I've been stating these days.

Be extremely careful with antipsychotics

Very slowly increase the dose, dont take high doses

If you feel terrible on it, or after having quit it, go to hospital immediately, if they refuse to cure you, say ur suicidal, they will send you to mental hospital. Stay there until u feel good again. 

Get loracepam/diacepam if you feel hell on earth.

I'm thinking this regimen

- Step 1: Start with sensitizing your dopamine receptors and upregulate them for 3 months. You do this with Antipsychotics, Nofap, Noporn and Vitamin B8 (Inositol) . Those things will upregulate n sensitize receptors.

Step 2: After having done a 3 months period of upregulating your receptors. You can now start increasing the production of dopamine because now you will benefit more from that since your receptors are more sensitive and because you have more receptors. Produce dopamine by taking Dopamine Agonists/Parkinsons medication such as Pramipexole and Cabergoline

Which one were you using? I think Seroquel/Quetiapin is quite safe. Perhaps you were using stronger antipsychotics?
