I remember almost crying because my driving instructor was legit some extremely old fashioned guy ( back then, students were legit whipped for simple stuff like not trimming your nails or something ). He didn't touch me physically because he wasn't allowed to ( government reforms ) but fuck he was berating at me for over 30 mins because "I couldn't brake seamlessly enough" and called me a retard.

The thing is, I did it right and he was just getting a kick out of it but I needed his approval to take the government mandated test still and I was already 2 or 3 weeks in so I bit the bullet and endured some pain. I usually don't care too much if someone berates me but the guy was legit ruthless and nothing was off the table.

Yeah I had some weird instructor, he always used the term Manhole.

"And now drive over there, next to that Manhole."

And in the first lesson, he would say: "You see son... Oh sorry you're an older student."

i don't get caring about cars when there's much cooler things out there. it's kind of like being obsessed over a toaster oven or something like that. i think what attracts a lot of browns to cars is the same as what attracts them to watches and phones, they're obvious status symbols to make up for their total lack of pedigree

you constantly play sports as a kid but you never drive a car, you only have those dumb toys, i absolutely loved army figures and toys as a kid but i don't like the army rn, playing sports like an actual physical activity and throwing your car toys around the room isn't comparable

Come to think of it, I don't see a lot of manholes here

Our roads are usually washed out and dry due to the weather though. When we get new roads, they look sleek and dark but just after a few days, they become washed out.

Sometimes on the highway, if you are lucky, you get a freshly paved road. The ride becomes really smooth and satisfying.

i have much more important things to care about like stockpiling gun, ammo, food, etc. i care more about what type and brand of optics device i put on my gun.

once you get to my LEVEL you will understand how insignificant cars are. i'd rather take the bus or trains anyway, they're more anonymizing

I actually do think cars are cool but they are taxed so high here that any foreign car = 2x the price here

If I do somehow get a lot of money, I will be getting an Itasha on a BRZ

For now I just need something that enables me to survive in this god-forsaken unwalkable country
