there's a good chance I might get kicked out of uni in the next month

Maybe get diagnosed with your illness' and apply to a lawyer to see if he can do anything about extending that duration

Even if nothing works out, dropping out was far from end of life for me (felt like end of life at the time)

Is there a chance that you could transfer to a private uni? I know that is a really common option in certain countries when people just can't pass certain exams, I reckon taking a loan for that isn't all that bad.

I was thinking about that. I made a quick search and saw some private universities that had quite different curriculums from mine, I'm not sure if they'd accept the classes I've passed. I really don't wanna start over from the beginning, I am super drained mentally.

yeah kinda. I think I overload my brain too much by studying for a lot of classes because of the pressure to finish

my dad once told me 5 classes per exam period is maximum one can pass and for years I didn't believe it but he may be right

I sent an e-mail today since I called and they didn't pick it up again

Quote:Good evening,

I would like to address two questions to you regarding the new provisions concerning student dismissals and the prescribed duration of studies, as a student of the department admitted in the academic year 2016–17.

In paragraph 2 of article 76, concerning the maximum duration of studies, it is mentioned that an extension beyond the maximum duration is possible in the case of serious health reasons of a first-degree blood relative. I would like to know whether such a provision is included in the university’s internal regulations and, if so, what the required procedure is for submitting the necessary documentation for such a request.

In paragraph 3 of article 454 it states:

"For students enrolled in undergraduate programs of Higher Education Institutions as of the entry into force of the present law (Government Gazette 5024, Issue A’ 141/21.07.2022), and who had not exceeded the minimum study duration of their program at the time of publication of Law 4777/2021 (A’ 25), the calculation of the maximum study duration referred to in paragraph 1 of article 75 shall apply from the beginning of the academic year 2021–2022 onwards."

Having entered in 2016–17, at the time of publication of Law 4777/2021 I was in my 5th year of studies. Given this, I would like you to clarify whether I am counted among the students who will be dismissed in 2025, or whether the time limit for my studies in my case is 2028–2029, as I have calculated if this provision applies to me.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could answer my questions.

Thank you.

I hope they will answer but I will most likely have to go to the secretary office by myself. Which isn't easy because I don't live there and they are only open for 4hrs each day.
