I am reading some academic book about wine making these days

from pascal riberau gayon, some guy, an academic. Apparently has a wiki entry too, badass. I picked it from some gypsy in street bazaar years ago, never had the courage to read it.

I am looking to make wine with the grapes I pick this summer. If you remember last year I made liqueur out of the plums from my parents house garden, and it came out decent. Thread about it https://bookism.net/showthread.php?tid=26732&pid=150272

This reminds me of a shitty joke, in Greece a popular joke to make about failing the exams that qualify you to enter unversity is:
"Where did you pass (meaning in which university, which highly depends on how well you performed on exams)?

"Ham-slicing, Ioannina (random backwater town)"

Obviously there is no ham-slicing degree program, but I'd imagine wine making makes the cut. But it's probably some class taught in some degree program such as food technology, or chemistry.

There was a guy guaranteeing (for a fee) that you'll pass your exam -- or your money back.
