despite the contrary delusion, private entities and citizens committing tax frauds are a way bigger problem for the cost of the government than some public agency or an entity that, shockingly, doesn't manage to be 100% efficient.

there are exceptions in both sectors, but as someone who has a deep insight into how both of those operate, i have to tell you what you are hinting at is as cringe as the most extreme form of DEI policies you can imagine. i get the psychological paradox of having a harder time giving your money away (and thinking someone is wasting it while not having a problem using all the infrastructure built with other people's tax money) when it was gifted to you via inheritance, though

You have a refreshing personality: very friendly, and then for absolutely no reason a bout of hostility (temporary)

I think I triggered him on the other thread, even tho I didn't mean to this time. Years ago I thought he was playing along but maybe he really is like that.

He's a very good friend, but then suddenly for no reason whatsoever he'll say: "OK I'm tired of your s-word. Blocked"

Luckily he snaps right out of it in a couple of hours

Rock clapping gif

Lol @ people who want to abolish the welfare state in all it's forms. Its so fucking short sighted... Literally who cares if some losers get a pretend job or some bums live welfare cheque to welfare cheque

Western leaders selling out their countries and wealth hoarding is a far bigger problem
