I've always failed to see how "Narcissism" is negative

good thread

i have high narcissism (backed up obviously), and i know how to not come off as a narcissist. at the same time, i can make it known that i don't see myself as beneath you. i think it's largely necessary if you're non-white in the west or a social situation where you're not the dominant group.

because i genuinely believe i’m the most superior human to ever walk the earth, a gift to humanity. that everyone regardless of race is beneath me. including my family. i don't give a fuck that i'm a certain race, as everyone in my race simply doesn't compare to me. whites may be superior to you, just not me. that i can kill anyone if i really wanted to in the most brutal manner possible. that inherent psychology of thinking someone is better than you isn’t there for me, which leaves little room for insecurities, ...

then again, i also have aspd, which i'm sure is intertwined

Post above me is good example of why you don’t want to be thought of as a narcissist

That sounds more like a sensitive or unfortunate state; but the way they are spoken about, narcissists are painted as Harmful to others.

"How I'm recovering from dating a narcissist" etc.

ur definition is correct, and yeah narcies can be harmful to others.

I understand that part, "don't brag too much because it could sound distasteful."

But Normans take it further and seem to say: "Don't ever think you are cool. You are always wrong and misguided."

They say narcissists generally have a greater satisfaction with life. But somehow I don’t think that’s the same kind of narcissist as the forum-posting crybaby sort à la Elliot Rogers.

The word “narcissist” itself has been irreversibly tainted by the multitude of BPD YouTube channels dedicated to exposing the range of injustices that they’ve suffered at the hands of friends, family, coworkers, and covert government agencies.

Accusing someone of narcissism is an effective way of saying “I might have an inferiority complex but you’re no better than me!”

Let's suppose I hate some guy X

At no point am I going to insult him by saying: "He thinks he is smart, handsome and important!"

Because those aren't insults, except to the vast Normalfag Lobby a.k.a. anti-narcissists
