What benefit does eating plants have (not including fruit)

Just curious, seeing as meat has every nutrient you need and all plant versions of vitamins etc are vastly inferior - poorly absorbed by the body, if at all and poorly converted to the animal versions we actually need, if at all.

If killing for food is torture then all predators are torturers

u asked me benefit and i listed one

if net sum of pain goes down in world its still a benefit, just not for u

diet wise theres nothing special about meat except carnosine, creatine and b12 all of which can be supplemented easily

You didn’t explain how killing for food is torture. And even if it was, why is that bad?
Why is net sum of pain going down a benefit? So if we nuked the planet and there was zero pain left that would be a win? Predators exist therefore life requires death.

If by torture you mean keeping animals locked up, wouldn’t dairy also cause ‘torture’?

do you actually know this or just talking nonsense you read on the internet

I can say with certainty (for me) that diets are scam, since I've tried most if not all of them

Define know.

‘Diets are a scam’ - what about the diet you’re currently eating?

Under utilitarian calculus, its a net positive. I dont care about ur moral valuations,im simply describing how under a certain paradigm it can be construed to be a negative. If you dont subscribe to that valuation then gfy.

carnivore is a scam, but u can certainly get a pretty decent understanding of human physiology to construct a diet that is more on the optimal side. Start with questioning the belief that sugar is poison.
