had a similar case where a guy was trying to photoshop his ex-gf to a pic of some woman having sex with a random guy, to accuse her of cheating and blackmail her. it was amateur work, so it was obvious he was a scammer. plus, some other details didnt add up 

but yeah, when the technology advances, it's gonna get trickier
