the court will hire a court expert to analyze it and provide his expert opinion
had a similar case where a guy was trying to photoshop his ex-gf to a pic of some woman having sex with a random guy, to accuse her of cheating and blackmail her. it was amateur work, so it was obvious he was a scammer. plus, some other details didnt add up
but yeah, when the technology advances, it's gonna get trickier

tampering with evidence is a criminal offence, though, so it comes with risks
