Back then it was all so new, videogames weren't broadly available in torrent sites like they are now, there were some 20-something yr old nerds making money off selling cracked videogame CDs.

I asked my dad to buy me a video game and since my dad is into history and stuff he bought me Age of Empires 3 (was right when it came out) from some university student he knew.
