Double jaw surgery
Custom infraorbital zygomatic arch implant
Genioplasty

My DJS result was top 0.1%, not even kidding, from utterly jawless to literally perfect profile
Implant did not go well, going to need to take it out and put fat grafts in instead. Put in a better design when I can afford it

Literally my entire face is recessed except my nasion

Still going to get a lip lift, implant for the lower lip, fillers for the upper eyelids, hair transplant

im 27 i wish i did all this when i was 18

Glad to hear that you such good results with your double jaw surgery. If you don't mind, could I know how much DSJ costed? Or was it covered by insurance if you may have had problems like sleep apnea etc.

Just like you I too have recession, not on the jaw but mainly my orbitals. I have recessed orbitals and lack of brow ridge protrusion. My jaw doesn't need any work for now and my phlitrum to chin ratio is decent.

I am 17 so I still have time. I need to get a job before I can even look into consults for orbital implants + cantho.

I went to Dr. Pagnoni in Rome, Italy

The price breakdown as as follows:
20k euro double jaw surgery and genioplasty
4k for custom plates (highly recommended, enables jaw widening and stability for greater movements)
4k for the infra cheek implant
plus airfare and accomodations

I had sleep apnea but I paid all out of pocket. Could have maybe got it covered in the US but most surgeons are not aesthetically conscious I had won a big fellowship that enabled be to pay this at the time.

Dr. Pagnoni and Dr. Ramieri (also in Rome) are probably the best in the world right now when it comes to custom implants. Especially the infraorbital zygo area. Quite frankly, I don't know of anyone else near their level and I've been researching this for years. That said they still aren't perfect.  There are some recent cases of Dr. Pagnoni misplacing implants but usually he does a very good job. I think I just got unlucky with mine. It's showing too much through the skin and didn't have the best shape but its hard to tell. People can't tell I had an implant and while it added neede projection i needed more projection in the submalar/canine fossa area. As it stands there's too great a discrepancy in projection between the infra and submalar area causing the skin to "sag."
Most people need at least two tries to get it right, but I wish I had just gotten an extrmeley conservative implant

if you don't have jaw recession then you don't need DJS of course.

This sounds like a good price tbh for very renowned surgeons that are well known within the community.

Sad to hear about the undesired result with the implants. You said here that Pagnoni and Dr.R are probs the best rn, what about Dr.Eppley in the US?

I won't need this surgery as I don't have recession. Just bad gonion visibility, recessed orbitals and bulgy eyes.

Dr. Eppley like most US surgeons doesn't use PEEK which is the best material. He uses silicone which has higher rate of infection risk, body rejection, and  bone absorption

His designs are also often more problematic than Pagnonis and Ramieris

I see. I often read about his botches on jaw work. I'll be sure to stay clear from him and do more research on the matter. He definitely knows how to market though....
