The reason you don't see people sacrificing 3 pieces and then winning in high level games nowadays isn't that they lack creativity, but simply because the players nowadays are sound enough defensively to be able to hold off at such sharp positions

Chess, especially blitz and rapid, is more interesting than ever because the players are better than ever. Classic has always been pretty lackluster, it personally doesn't interest me. You can't act like Fischer played "creatively" in his World Chess Championship matches. And no, it's just a board game.

if making a lichess account and hitting 1800 with zero theory or training after 1 day, then quitting from boredom is sour grapes, then sure. im not sour about myself, im sour about how retarded most chess players are, im sour that theres humans who spend over a year researching just to stagnate at 1500 then get a superiority complex over their ostensive intelligence. Bobby Fischer: a philosopher, a political theorist, a man of fortitude and belief in himself with no care for the perverted expectations of society; a man who fought over the board for the dignity of his nation. Meanwhile, these days, Hikaru: a libtard fat stoner twitch streamer who can barely string together a conherent sentence outside of chess, and Magnus, a down syndrome looking subhuman, who compares himself to the universe, but is in reality just a drunk who has never played an internationally impactful game of chess in his life; a degenerate who stopped caring about winning, but keeps playing just for groupies. Zero integrity, zero manhood, zero real inteligence. 100% fraud.

And elab how playing chess will make u more intelligent or wise than just reading a good book. Then again, I know you are more into cunning business than philosophical wisdom, so its different, but frankly I value the latter to a significantly higher degree and therefore dont care at all for whatever cognitive benefits come from playing chess. Besides, the brain makes the player, not vice versa, at least IMO.

Chess improves ur analytical thinking, u think ahead a lot like a lot in chess, all kinds of possible scenarios.
If u lose in chess thats because u made a mistake, its never luck.
its not cunning business, it just helps u lead life, chess is very good for understanding the importance of sacrifices and the chances u have to take (gambits) to win in life.
