Legit, this is major concern for me. No one talks about it, but I'm nearly 100% sure that front neck curls can cause double chin. Solution is to only train rear of neck (which is much easier to do and feels much better) or to be very careful to only activate sternocleidomastoid muscles when doing neck curls
I think most people do neck curls incorrectly and end up hypertrophying the muscles that run down the centre of the neck, which results in double chin, which is absolute nightmare
