i think our tendencies are leaning towards validation to a large extent, i wouldn't say it's "50:50" or "as long as you procreate, you win"

I actually somewhat related with what this person wrote, I think you might too, but not so much the worshiping part, just being genuinely "appreciated," someone interested in what is going on in your life, etc. Not even talking about a romantic relationship either, just from a human to human level. Because I just can't feel like anything I get irl is genuine, and ofc it's gotten worse in the 2020s

I don't think it's an aging thing either, there's something generationally that has changed. What was there before is just dead and gone

yeah, doesnt have to be worshipping; just being generally positively treated to keep your daily life pleasant
