i m completely fine admitting this. at least you are not putting claims in my mouth. but i think nd weirdo is too harsh - most people are like that too, they are just conditioned to believe it's some luxurious piece of clothing, a watch or a supercar that's gonna make them feel like they are in heaven. the core to it all is the desire to be accepted and validated by others, i d say. whether it's through everyone thinking you are a "genius", have the looks of a model, have the latest iphone, hang out with the coolest people or whatever
