1. the fact i just got the keys of my childhood home taken away from me as a middle aged man
2. the fact that i can buy 5 penthouses and hire 10 maids and hot whores by midnight without even beginning to jeopardize liquid assets, but genuinely feel 0 excitement about it

i dont really car about the keys thing, she's too kindhearted to really restrict access to my home, i just find it surreal considering my general life situation

yeah. not that saving is my motivation or main MO, i just feel 0 desire to spend it on luxurious items like expensive cars or something because i get 0 boner for it, so almost all money i make just ends up sitting on my accounts. and i don't make that money with "I HAVE TO MAKE X.XXXX BY THIS DATE", it's just a consequence of having a highly marketable skill i keep honing because it comes in package with polishing my brain

i want to buy a mandolin but even tho it wouldnt rly put a big dent into anything just the sheer number amt it costs feels like too much for me (even tho ive spent more on instruments in the past but it was saxophone so idk it felt more valid)

and the average salary of some npc like ruud means what exactly to a guy with 15+ mill deposited (who can, on top of that, make that 25+ basically at will by exerting some more effort professionally)?
