Also, that generation grew up believing that the meaning in life was to 'have fun' and to do what 'feels good'. That's why they are in favor of homosexuality, abortion, drugs or mindless partying. And the only thing that mattered was to not interfere with someone else's 'choices'.

The boomers at least knew some people from respectable generations. They knew veterans from both wars.
