It seems impossible for that generation. They have the selfishness of the boomers mixed with fragility and self righteousness. Many children will be left damaged as a result.

Also, that generation grew up believing that the meaning in life was to 'have fun' and to do what 'feels good'. That's why they are in favor of homosexuality, abortion, drugs or mindless partying. And the only thing that mattered was to not interfere with someone else's 'choices'.
The boomers at least knew some people from respectable generations. They knew veterans from both wars.
