Wikipedia doesn't go into depth in any subject. It's a bit more than a dictionary in it's practicality. Even if you somehow manage to memorize most of it's pages, you'll end up looking like a pseudo-intellectual with no actual grasp of the topic when you start talking about it.

you could just mention something that adds to conversation. if it goes deeper than you could freely admit your ignorance
