it's really quite entertaining seeing how easily controlled people are by government and big corporations
people: "release le epstein files!"
gvt: "nah"
people: "do it or else!!! im gonna get really angry and post about it on twitter for a week!!!!!!!"
i mean what else can they do
does anyone really care enough to fight for it, much less die for it? who would they even fight or kill if they were?
are they willing to vote for it? if so, who would they vote for, another AIPAC-owned slave who would do nothing different?
even when people have complete control over their situations, they act like slaves
remember when netflix cracked down on account sharing and hiked their prices?
remember the outrage of people saying they're cancelling their accounts?
remember what happened to their profits and stock price in the following quarters? (they skyrocketed)
people can fake outrage all they want, but are unwilling or unable to make even simple decisions they have complete "control" over to stand behind it
same thing happened with runescape membership price increase lol, playercount didnt take the slightest hit despite "major outrage"
do you think it was always like this or have people become more programmed over time?
how much freedom of choice does the average person have (ignoring metaphysical free will arguments)?
is there really much to do other than get a job, pay taxes, and go with the flow
im not pretending this is a novel or even interesting thought i just feel like it's become more noticeable in recent years, to me anyways, low iq thread tbh
really the only way to seemingly make any impact is to assassinate people (i am not advocating for this or saying i have any interest in doing so CIA). activism and voting feels quite pointless. i have no interest in that personally anyways.
