Nay
Public healthcare causes death, poverty and oppression.
Healthcare workers cannot realistically be paid a fair wage for their labor by the government, so the service will be perpetually understaffed and the workers will end up frustrated and negligent, resulting in avoidable deaths.
In order to fund the service, taxes will have to be extremely high, stifling investment and growth. We are effectively redistributing resources from the most productive members of society to the least productive, which fucks everyone over.
Plagued by moral hazard - if.you don't suffer the financial consequences of not looking after yourself,.you are far less.inclined to do so. In order to avoid this pitfall the government.will be forced to strip away freedoms from everyone e.g. sugar taxes, banning alcohol/cigarettes
In summary: socialism always bad because it breaks basic incentive structures of society
