Giving up or saying "it's impossible to change" show that you have are an inherently weak and stupid person. Deterministically speaking, you are inherently weak and stupid. That is the fact of the matter and cannot be denied.
By adopting this attitude, you are cementing the notion that you are weak and stupid and will forever be weak and stupid. You have closed yourself off to all success. But staying focused will provide you with a small chance of success
This is determinism. And in this model, fatalists are clear failures (their continual failure can be predicted). Meanwhile, non-fatalists have at least some chance, and so cannot be predicted to be continual failure (by current models, at least).
