Is it weird that when someone asks me that question I reply "high fashion runway model"? Extremely low responsibility means lack of work-related stress, tons of free time to focus on your interests between castings/shows, surrounded by other good-looking people, (who happen to be less snob than the average street rat) traveling the world, meeting new people, exploring art/fashion and so on... 

How is it cringe and looked down upon if that's my ideal job? As if your average STEMtard wagie has any beneficial impact to society that deserves any praise...

Do you think you'd genuinely like working as a model or are you conflating that with being good looking enough to be a model and all its associated benefits?


I have some regrets about not joining the army when I was 18. If I had I could have gotten into the lucrative but risky path of being a private military contractor or some well-paying engineering role, or at least be sent to Afghanistan to be blown up which seems far more tolerable than my current existence. Unfortunately it's too late for that now and besides my parents would never have allowed it.

Something about modeling lifestyle seems appealing to me. Travelling to the opposite corner of the planet and staying with 7 other models in the same 10m2 studio to participate in some casting just to get a shot at participating in some stupid fashion show while being 3days fasted and ur bank account is near empty... I picture it more appealing in my head than what it sounds like... But you are probably right, when you are gl even breathing air feels ecstatic, I bet...

Idk about the military, I normally associate people in the military with all the negative traits a person can have. But ik people in USA hold military in a higher regard so its probably different.

lol... but seriously, i remember being 4-5 in the lunch-hall at school and being too high inhib to stand up to put my rubbish in the bin. so i thought to myself, "c'mon, you'll never be a robber if you're too scared to do that". and my desire to be a rotter started around the same time and continued to this day.
