what's your ideal job? - kathisterima - 30-08-2022 Is it weird that when someone asks me that question I reply "high fashion runway model"? Extremely low responsibility means lack of work-related stress, tons of free time to focus on your interests between castings/shows, surrounded by other good-looking people, (who happen to be less snob than the average street rat) traveling the world, meeting new people, exploring art/fashion and so on... How is it cringe and looked down upon if that's my ideal job? As if your average STEMtard wagie has any beneficial impact to society that deserves any praise... Do you think you'd genuinely like working as a model or are you conflating that with being good looking enough to be a model and all its associated benefits? I have some regrets about not joining the army when I was 18. If I had I could have gotten into the lucrative but risky path of being a private military contractor or some well-paying engineering role, or at least be sent to Afghanistan to be blown up which seems far more tolerable than my current existence. Unfortunately it's too late for that now and besides my parents would never have allowed it. |
