Was thinking about this earlier
It hits different when someone is nice to you and they have literally no reason to be (not obligated by their job or pressure from other people)
Though, I suppose there's a difference between a random act of kindness from a stranger and knowing someone for a while
I remember at the shelter who my aunt on my mom's side runs, she/one of her sisters had some adopted kid who was 6'10" and psl 5.5 and worked for the cops. He wouldn't even acknowledge my existence lmao. They all went out of their way for him, though. And you can tell they actually considered him part of their family where as with me they wanted me to gtfo asap
Sucks having a narcy drug addicted pedophile for a dad. What did that autistic fuckwit expect when he reproduced?

I thank the bus drivers but the bus drivers never thank me
They do for the pretty girls though (Rare on busses but it happens)

Thinking back to high-school, I was on the bottom of the totem pole and not a single person was nice to me. The exact opposite, even. Some exceptions were people who found me hilarious and people who felt sorry for me
Though If I was in their shoes I would make fun of me too
I'm a subhuman!

Vlad Obuzic talked about this in a recent vlog
He said basically You never know what people would do if they got rich
