It's very pleasant to be up at 3AM

To still have a normal sleep schedule, just go to bed slightly earlier than 8, or alternatively "start a new day" without sleeping (When 7-8 am comes, fix some breakfast and wear new clothes).

Ugh You’re fucked
I guess you don’t have a job you need to wake up for
I take a cocktail of medicines each night to help me sleep but I still only manage 9 hours (the doctor said I need 12 hours personally because of my various bodily ailments)

I would sleep only at like 6 am

And everyday I would slowly shift my sleep back slowly and slowly

I'm now sleeping at like 2 to 3 am which is huge difference

You have to force yourself though, it's torture

Xanax helps

been trying to do that for years while studying, always returned to my old habits within 2-3 days

it doesn't solve the core problem, which is usually doing jack shit the entire day and just rotting for neets

what is this bs, lmao

no one needs 12 hours of sleep. it does more harm than good, no matter the condition, unless you are literally dying

You will then probably be genuinely tired at say 10 AM, but then you take a nap.

The important thing is that the format of the day is intact, and you aren't having lunch at 22:30 at night for example

sleep is one of the most important things in life

my advice is to set an alarm for around 10am. you'll struggle for the first few days, but then youll get into a routine. adjust the alarm so that you can go to bed at a reasonable time (around 11pm) and wake up feeling rested - ideally, youll start waking up naturally before your alarm goes off

dk where you live but if it qualifies as disabilty you could manage to get some welfare checks. It is super hard to treat, there is a whole subreddit where people have no idea how to bring their schedules back. Ive tried agomelatine and that helps some.
