Does anyone like asparagus?
#1
I cut the on may, and with the dry weather, the only thing that grew back was feral asparagus plants. I counted 28 in total, and even tho their crops are usually tiny, that's a hefty amount.

So does anyone like eating those? How do you prep them? I heard they are the best source of naturally occurring glutathione which is an antioxidant with anti-ageing and skin lightening effects. Not that I believe in any of that, just throwing the info out there, maybe someone has more to add.

Some upbeat folks put them in omelette, but im not brave enough for that stage yet. Healthy eating is a scam, but there's beauty in consuming what you produce, self sustainability, logistics etc.

I eat them with salmon

Butter on a pan, garlic, some salt. Then I plate and put some pepper on top. As with the anti-aging stuff, that is true as long as you are eating a vegetable based diet. Low oxidative stress from the diet + less skin glycation + better regulation of LDL receptors ( typically if you eat balanced diet and limit saturated fats which is just easier on veg )
