Yes he does which makes his reflections on citation somewhat hypocritical. He talks about how he doesn't like citation practices in "On Authorship and Style" and "On Philosophy and the Universities." But his remarks are vague enough as to be applied back to him and vague enough as to potentially come across as encouraging plagiarism. There are good reasons to take issues with citation practices but they are not the ones he gives. |
