even if I'm standing in 1.5m deep water and see a 30 cm wave approaching, I'll feel extreme discomfort

don't even want to think about waves like this one:

also, deep sea movies = horrors for me. actual horrors, not "5 teenagers decide to spend a weekend in a house full of ghost" type trash

imagine you are in your little sailboat next to a giant ice glacier near Antarctica, in the middle of fucking nowhere, and suddenly a stripe of ice separates and falls into the sea, causing a massive 40m tsunami mega wave coming at your direction.

I'd die of a heart attack before it even got close to me

would rather confront a pack of hungry wolves in the middle of a forest, even if someone told me I had a 10% chance to survive the wave somehow
