I am close to becoming catholic, but I have yet to take the final step.

What's holding me back is the hatred against some of the emerging liberal elements. I'm worried that the church will surrender to the rainbow activists.

At the same time, I'm worried about expectations being too high. No idea what to do.

List convincing arguments against the catholic faith below. Idiotic one liners with cheap arguments won't do it.
