i know this will sound muh generation War/targeting cliche, but you know of how the word 'disinformation' became so popular for a very ironic phenomena, which you see such affinity boomers have for the TV, and the particular affinity to see whatever it's televisioning as the ultimate truth so much they start parroting it, and the exact moment they migrated to the internet, you know, when your uncle became familiar with braindead cellphone apps, that they think everything in social media is true too. i can't explain it well, but it's so obvious what happened in those last years
