Waiter secrets
#1
- Adding water to draft beer, sipping less beer and more foam
- Putting "reserve" sign on every second table even if no one will come, the get paid the same regardless of how many people will dine
- Your decaf coffee is in fact a regular coffee, no one cares
- Lying that they own the restaurant to female guests
- No tip = slower or no service

Anything else?

When someone doesn't finish their St. Pellegrino sparkling water, they pour the remainder into another bottle

So when they serve you your overpriced water, it is already Uncorked, and they try to mask it by pouring it themselves

They probably need to be connected with the manager to do that. I don't think taht top restaurants resort to that.

Well pay attention next time they bring you Water

Namely it's not a sealed bottle, but an already opened one, and he masks it by pouring quickly

does this really happen? what's the point, even in that 1 in 5000 situation where someone is dumb enough to buy it

these guys went all in, lmao

this entire thing with tipping is extremely retarded if the waiter is just a retard who gets you food and drink from place A (kitchen, bar) to place B (your table that's approximately 8 m away). that's already in the price of actual products on the menu.

i get it for elite restaurants and places where it takes some knowledge, presentational skills and actual effort to serve your customers, but regular waiters who just bring you cheap bear 2 times in an hour and expect to be tipped are ridiculous

the list sounds like a reddit thread where irrelevant waiters are pretending it's some super cool, complex profession with an entire hidden world in it, lmao

all the stuff listed is either weak bs everyone knows about (watering down drinks to sell more, really unheard of) or "tricks" nobody probably even uses.

the thing with marking empty tables as reserved is an instant termination of employment, and if your employer is motivated enough and can prove you've been doing it consistently (they often can via using cameras/asking other employees and guests or doing some math), good luck not getting sued for damages

A waiter told me so. Apparently they have this "James Bond" complex and often try to seduce evidently taken women. On staff member even lost his job because of it. I also noticed that they will rush to serve young and girls with tats.

When most of the tables are booked in fact they are not. They are just using a "reserved" sign to work less.
