Phuket seems like a good option but its overcrowded with tourists

And you're right $1000 is not enough for far away places, India should be fine hmmm

Only places I can think of outside are Dubai and Singapore and I've lived in SG so hmmm, Dubai doesnt really seem all that

Costal Canada tbqh, extremely fresh, clean, relaxing and places in the eastern coast have some historical prevelance. Beautiful mountain views etc. I really urge u to look into this at least a bit before u write it off in ur head.
