Lucifer loved God more than anything. All the angels did. God decided socializing was dumb and nobody really loved God, so God locked itself in a room and jerked off over the erotic fanfic it was writing.
God spent a few days focusing on world building, slapped TotallyOriginalCharacter-NotGod-Adam into a literal paradise and gave them a perfect waifu who would be forever beautiful, breedable, and submissive.

It hurt. So Lucy grabbed a few of the other angels to try and get God outside to touch grass.
