i have an highish (~125-130) iq that is worthless because i hate intellectual activity
reading/school work gives me cortisol
manual labour gives me dopamine
I REFUSE to learn/think

Sounds like mental illness. Most 130 IQ people would rather visit Gandy than spend their life being a bricklayer
I know an older guy that used to be a bricklayer. I couldn't believe it. The guy knows more about history than i do, and seems way more knowledgeable about practically every facet of life. May be a bit patronising but i couldn't help but feel like his brain was being wasted. Remember, that every manual labour guy will retire with crippling spinal issues and joint pain. It's just not worth it
maybe mental illness tbh
never been a bricklayer but looks like a something i would enjoy
bet that guy could be foreman/management sitting in the trailer with the AC on rn if he really wanted to
differences in value systems can be defined as mental illness by default (Oppositional defiant disorder LOL) but it's not like i was diddled as a kid, panic attack, soft dick issues deep repression, ect
some gigachads would legitimately rather take a nice walk than slay the sexiest woman in the world. Good for them

if you mean i have a low iq yea prob lol
if dislike of intellectual activity, why change something that works? juice isn't worth the squeeze imo. Assuming it's even possible, looking at some posters heavily implies it's not.

I have learnt the truth but i've buried it at the back I agree, its better not to know sometimes. I took an IQ test and got a good score, but lower than what I was expecting. I havent taken any more IQ tests since then since I dont want to traumatize myself

yeah, one interesting thing about it though is how you start to notice that your brain is literally calibrated to do certain things, while other things you could think about for 100 years and still not have an answer
bricklaying for example sounds perfect for me, just the right amount of thinking required to not get bored to death

tbh you sound traumitized, and your attitude towards being a high achiever or whatever is reactionary
not saying that as an insult, at all, but idk how a high IQ person thinks so i could be dead wrong

this is another good point
how you think/act is definitely more due to environment, for example

yeah, it's "normal range"
but normal ranges are retarded. just look at dick size and testosterone; if we go by normal ranges, my 4.8 inch penis is considered adequate, which obviously isn't the case

If you're an undergrad in a good university and you excel at what you do, regardless of the subject, you're definitely over the 110-115 mark. Masters students, probably over 120. PHD students over 125-130. If you're able to publish a few papers, you're definitely over the 130 mark and probably approaching 140.
Most of my professors think in a way that i find really interesting. Always asking relevant questions and challenging your work in ways you might not have previously thought of. 140+ thinkers are obvious. They're normally really humble, agreeable and open to different interpretations, but they'll be able to guide your own thoughts along the right lines without necessarily agreeing with them.
This is only in the humanities field, and from what i've observed. Outside of that i'm not really sure.

The only reason i'd ever want to get into academia would be so i could surround myself with such people
I love curious and open minded people like that. Most of them aren't even dismissive of controversial opinion, so long as you have evidence to support what you're saying.
It's why i disagree with the idea that people are politically moulded by universities. Maybe that's something that happens in american universities, but over here no inquiry is out of bounds. You could write a paper on the history of inceldom if you really wanted to or serial killers.

when people talk about people being indoctrinated by institutions, it's usually because the people leaned that way anyway & chose their major accordingly... that said, my brother who was a physics student, did have a tranny lecturer once. they were clueless and took up the entire amount of time going on about their pronouns or some retarded bullshit
i think you have to be amicable on some level to be a professor, because otherwise you will get sacked fast like that tranny
