Why is Firefox so much slower than Chrome now
#1
I swear like 2 years ago, I did a side by side and the difference was negligible

Now, it's like night and day

Absolutely ludicrous

Same issue for you guys or is this on my end?

they are the same for me. maybe you have some plugins that make it slower. or firefox is worse with add-ons. When I use both of them plain I feel no difference.

I use unlock and dark reader but that's about it

I'll check if that makes a diff when I get home

I am using firefox 95% of the time and i had an issue only one time a couple weeks ago where it would eat all my ram for some reason and stopped working

Other than that it's working fine

works fine for me. never used chrome in my life so can't compare, though. maybe you were messing with the add-ons and installed some trash which now became incompatible

Memory leaks I guess, furryfox was notorious for this

Used to be horrendous, it's better now
