imagine this:
1. taxes don't exist
2. everything you see, all the infrastructure in the country is built and owned by private corporations
3. there is a number of corporations owning all the, for example, roads in the country
4. for some reason or for different reasons, all those corporations fail and suddenly there is not a single corporation providing road traveling service
5. railroads have been completely abandoned by now, because one thought it would be profitable and sustainable as a business model
6. there are airports everywhere and a bunch of companies providing access to them as their most important service, but they are aware of the situation, so they are charging insane amounts for you just to land on their airport and keep your aircraft there for a couple of hours, let alone longer. there are also capacity limitations, so they can't exactly have 200 planes and helicopters there at once, leading to even higher prices. you are completely powerless against them and their terms because their prices are set by the invisible hand of the market; the government intervening would mean regression to the most fundamental and brutal communist/socialist regime imaginable.

how do you get to work/relatives/a girlfriend/tourist destinations/any place you want to visit?

but every system except pure capitalism is based on the government (more precisely, the governing political party) stealing money from the country's citizens under the threat of financial sanctions or incarcerations, all while having the monopoly of force.

btw, no one's stopping any of you from actually answering the question without resorting to pseudo-humorous copouts and attempts at abstractization of the topic

Everything is done better by the free market. An insane amount of progress has been Missed Out On by humanity, due to socialism

Some libertarians argue that residents, homeowner associations, cooperatives, or road-user groups could purchase and manage road networks.

Some advocate a "night-watchman" state that would intervene to maintain essential infrastructure if markets failed.

The rest of the answers chatgpt gave me are the free market would fix it or travel would be impossible

So basically reinstate the government or wait for a new owner to come along

Why is it every libertarian has a passive income source as well? Surely dolly buster realises that in his fantasy world he wouldn't be able to manipulate numbers on a screen to make money, he'd actually have to add value to society, if a gypsy doesn't kill him first

No need for fictional scenarios. Look no further than telecommunication companies.
