Some of the best parts are quoted in 'Sexual Politics' by the feminist Kate Millet as an example of misogynistic prose.

A scene about the narrator cucking his friend. He mentions that the guy he cucks has a big penis, but couldn't do anything with it.

The book is bascially about a person, who is a complete loser, who for some reason has women throwing themselves at him.

I'm around page 250 now.

I first heard him namedropped in a rap song. 'Sexus - ich bin wie Henry Miller unterwegs'. So, my introduction to him was through low culture, I have to admit. 

Then I read Tropic of Cancer and some other stuff. Encountered him everywhere.
