You should be mouse-chording or touch screening everything, as this reduces cognitive fatigue over long sessions of computer-intensive work. Remembering keybinds and commands are a hassle if you need to remember 20-30 of them at a single time. Noob!
The brightest minds of the 20st century agreed, who built the entire world you live in fyi, preferred such a mode of computing for those reasons actually!
Quote:Thompson eventually transitioned from Sam to Acme, a graphical text editor and programming environment also created by Pike
Quote:Dennis Ritchie, the co-creator of Unix and C, used Acme—a unique text editor created by Rob Pike for the Plan 9 operating system—because it brilliantly integrated the text buffer, file system, and shell into a single, cohesive user interface.Acme wasn't just a text editor; it was more like an integrated desktop environment and workspace. Here is why Ritchie and other Bell Labs pioneers relied on it:
Nowadays we can control our computers with our minds and mouses have more buttons than ever! It is time we FULLY transition into this hyper-efficient mode of computing, where the only remaining limiting factor is your baseline mental performance and acuity!

Touchscreen isn't precise enough. Lol at wasting hours going back and retyping things because women and normies dont know how to use keyboards so tech industry has to keep pushing a tech that doesn't work

The people who created the architectural DNA of the device you are typing on at this very moment to post this moronic comment would disagree
Classic incelosphere shit-wit, only is able to resort to muh women, trannies or Jews and has to frame his pathetic reactionary statements as just "being better than everyone else"

Exposing your chimp-brain if a touchscreen is "not accurate enough for you". Touchscreen keyboards are even by themselves, superior to physical keyboards in every way due to the customization of layouts on the fly, accessibility settings, ability to switch out languages on the go etc. When I need to type in Mandarin for example, literally can just convert pinyin or even draw characters to type 'em out

Sam is the preferred text editor of several eminent programmers. It was the first full screen editor Ken Thompson liked.[3] Sam is the text editor used by Bjarne Stroustrup,[4] Brian Kernighan,[5][6] Douglas McIlroy and Tom Duff.[citation needed] Others, like Dennis Ritchie, Rob Pike and Russ Cox, have transitioned to acme, an editor with the same command language as sam, but with an assortment of additional features, including mouse chording and automatic tiling of opened files.

completely agree
but the thing that irks me is *most people* (cringe) are subhumans who use this amazing, practically alien technology for subhuman purposes *me included*
giving people matrix tier technology so they can watch more youtube shorts or goon harder seems wrong

That's what happened with the consumer VR space yeah, but that girl I linked, I think, beat Elden Ring entirely with her mind using the EEG headset so you can use it for much cooler things
