The mystical, detached, intoxicated feeling that comes about from a prolonged maintenance of a 'creative mindset' is incomparable to much else you'd experience - it's almost the beginning of a shroom trip, or sort of like what I imagine a weak schizophrenia to be. The downsides are that long periods of introspection - combined with a total disregard for external morality - result in the unearthing of aspects of your nature which really should be kept buried.
Because of this, for almost the entirety of 2023, I was moved to abstain from all forms of creativity. I felt that it was necessary for the purging of my mind. But now, the creativity has returned, on its own accord.
Gathering knowledge is also fun and provides a pleasant level of escapism, but it's nowhere near to creativity.
If none of this makes sense to you, then I'm sorry. If TikTok and Netflix are good enough for you, then don't bother trying to understand.

Observe the world's beauty and strangeness, and transform those observations into art of some sort. Most art remains in the mind, but some is expressed physically (drawings, short stories, poetry, essays etc.)
