how do I stop oversleeping

yday I went to sleep at 11 pm, took half a xanax pill, still fell asleep only at around 1 am

I woke up at 6.30 am from alarm but fell way too tired and went back to sleep, I thought it's okay only an hour more

then I woke up, checked the time and it was 11am 

this has been happening for too long, I can't figure this out, I stopped minitran but it still keeps happening, wtf is it
