ive been rewatching it recently and theres nothing good about the show in the first 5 episodes
nothing really happens, total snoozefest. i don’t remember it being this boring
i feel like the only reason it was decently received is cuz they’re constantly poppin titties
or were the first episodes just unfairly boosted by their eventual payoff in later episodes

i think the second half of it is good (off memory, haven’t gotten there on rewatch)
my initial memory from my first watchthrough 7 years ago was that the first 4 seasons started good and basically just kept getting better, then season 5 meh, season 6 great, season 7 meh, season 8 shit
i.e. 3=4=6>2>1>5=7>8
but season 1 has genuinely been boring as hell
i get you have to take time to set the scene and introduce characters, but jeez it’s boring
