you’re overthinking it. women and woman sounds pretty much the exact same. no one really focuses on the “men/man” part at the end of the word

sv3rige has started freaking out about this recently as well
most EFLs don't know what "women" is pronounced "wi-muhn" (and "woman" is "wu-muhn")
