i noticed that too tbh social media artists who only draw characters so damn mad about ai usage citing its "stealing artwork" by using prior human arts for its weight training. in practice it just embeds based on text and "learns" from patterns much like humans do. so i dont really think its a strong argument because ai doesnt really create similar art to the preexisting dataset it has either. its like telling an art student that they are stealing art because they learned from their teachers art at art school

how does a human made tool disproves that things such as art makes us different to the beasts? do calculators disprove that mathematics is human? either way, i do mess with ai from time to time, id say it isnt nearly as great as people say it is, stuff is still abstract, or the art is fragmented, we can see its a frankensteined thing instead of human intentionality being there, however we mediate such with endless tailoring until something human resembling is done. in a way ai art is still very weird, even if extremely tailored to something that is passable, id say theres this plastic or edibleness visual element to ai art, it looks pretty weird, it is okay for basic things such as corporate art
