the shears and clippers totally worked i just gave myself a hella clean taper. im no professional but i been cutting my hair a bit using like arts&crafts bullshit since last year but this new gear is hella nice. like bro whatever these barbers are doing is not magic bruh

i just put my hair up and went all around the back and sides with a 13 guard and a 10 guard with and without lever near the edges then i carefully used the clippers guardless around my ears and lined up the back of my neck on both sides very conservatively and also cleaned up stray hairs using guardless very carefully
then i let my hair down and, and since the back and sides now constrasted so harshly with the uncut hair that i put up earlier, it was so intuitive to just snip it down to size so it was proportional again. no technique just taking out calculated locks here and there until it was symmetrical and clean. it seriously looks professional ngl i wish i could upload a pic

the only thing a legit barber could do is probably make it perfect in the back and also probably make a nicer fade which i did by freehand guardless around my ears but tbh it already looks good every guy should just do this shit wtf and also considering it was my first legit attempt WTF
